You asked… We listened!
A number of our new users asked us if there was a way for us to provide some sample renewals so that they could get a feel for the platform from the outset. We had previously pointed them towards the sample CSV file for bulk imports but we knew this wasn’t going to cut it long term.
Therefore, we decided to make it so that when a new account is created, it gets populated with a number of sample renewals. Their sample renewal dates are set so that one is already expired, another will approach it’s 30-day window the day after signup and another it’s 90-day window in two days. We’ve even added a renewal group too, showing new users how groups are represented on the platform.
It’s like a renewals playground!
You can play around with the sample renewals. You can try editing them to see how easy it is to make corrections. You can even try marking them as renewed to see how easy it will be when you need to mark your own as renewed, showing you how the previous renewal history is maintained. This allows you to see previous costs and quantities… Pretty handy!
You can mark them as archived so they still exist in the system but wont trigger any notifications or appear in the totals (other than the archived totals). You may also delete the renewals individually or by turning on the row selector (under the settings , bottom left on the tables/lists) and deleting multiple rows at a time. You can group and ungroup them too!
You can add or remove the sample renewals at any time under the account menu .
We think it’s pretty neat… Hope you do too!
